Hey Danielle!
Thanks for putting me on your newsletter list!
I'm so excited for you and Neal!!! You guys make such a wonderful couple. Look forward to seeing you in the end of May (if you're still in Bp.)

Oh wow. Just read the newsletter and I am so excited about being one of the first to comment on your blog....
so, update from us...jake just got back from Prague/Czech with Mike Alpert. They had some good man time, aside from Mike's 103 fever. I stayed home and, well, didn't do anything really exciting.
Jake is home now and he has his art showing at a local coffee place. He's really trying to get going with his art career. He's been doing a lot of art with our church too.
Church is going good...we are starting a home group this week at our house. We are excited. The women of our church are awesome and I am feeling blessed to be part of such a great group.
Also with church...we are planting one in September! We are really excited about that. Several people from our current church are going to be starting a new one in a college town nearby. Should be cool.
We are going to Hawaii in June with my family, my little bro is getting married in July, and my sister is having my first nephew in just a few short weeks!
We are so happy for you and Neal. We like you guys a lot. Come visit us sometime. Seriously.
Beka
Hey Danielle! Congrats to you and Neal :) May God bless the remainder of your time in Hungary, I am positive that you are a Light in the darkness. I'll be back in Hungary in June...Yippee, I can't wait! Enjoy spring in Budapest :)

It was so great to talk to you early in the new year... tried to get a message off to Neal that he was the Man of the Month - don't know if he got the message or the cash prize that accompanied it.
I'm gearing up to leave the Dominion's Capital to go South in June. I'm almost anxious to go to university again at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville.
Not sure what to do till then, but so far not much as been keeping me really busy. Lots to prepare - my insides, my outsides, my noggin, my documentation, my Emily...
Hey Danielle, it is always great to hear from you, and your blog is one of my personal favorites.
I have just returned to work this week, part time, after being stuck at home for 6 weeks to allow my broken ankle to heal. I will still be on crutches with a walking cast for the next month. I definitely had times of frustration and anger and bitterness and self-pity during that time but I also had some aha! moments while I read some great books.
I feel like this last week I have been surrounded with the idea and phrase "Do What You Love" and so I'm finally realizing that maybe I should stop thinking about plans and appreciate how content I am at my current ministry (and it is SO funny now how resistant I was to initially contact them about a position back in October).
I also have been reminded that I need people and I need to let them know this and ask for help, I can't keep fooling myself into believing I can do life alone. Basically this just means I need to keep in touch with people. I realized this while I was laying on the couch watching yet another hour of tv, during my time at home, just to have some voices in the house.
And last, I feel like God has continued to teach me some wonderful things about relationships and continues to change my heart and prepare me for either a lifelong friendship or singleness. I continue to refine what I hope to have in a partner, although I still am confused sometimes by men seeking a friendship with me.
But God is good and He is faithful and His grace is sufficient.
