My oh so wonderful fiance brought me yummy candies, and yummy new candies. So yummy, that my old favorite candy, Reeses Peanut Butter cups, has been moved to second place by Hershey's Peanut Butter Kisses. YUM!

Please go indulge in some soon.

Wasting time...

I am procrastinating... You should only read on if you are also procrastinating...

My place hasn't been clean since Neal and Kevin were here. That was back before Christmas. I have piles of clean clothes yet to be folded. Well, now that I mention it, I suppose my place isn't that messy. I just need to put away stuff. I'm trying to downsize what I own, so the thought was that with so many clothes out of the closet, the remaining clothes still in the closet, I should get rid of. Sounds easy enough, right? It isn't. There are two shirts that I could think about parting with... Two out of I-have-no-idea-how-many shirts I have.

On to more important things to think about... I'm planning a wedding! This is fun, fun, fun. The options are (almost) endless, but in keeping within budget, you've gotta be strategic. I thought I loved lots of options, but the more options, the harder the decisions are. That's ok, it's a good lesson to help me not to stress over silly things. And if you know me, I stress over silly things.

Other options about to board the boat of decisions, ESI recruitment and placement of teachers. Pray for ESI teachers and recruitment. Numbers are low and we need more peeps to come and serve God teaching overseas. We've got new schools wanting teachers, but if there are no teachers, there are no new schools, and with no new schools, there are fewer opportunities to share Christ! Visit www.teachoverseas.org and ask for Carice!

Well, enough of my rambles. I suppose I should go grocery shopping. Eggs are starting to get boring!

Cards!

This Christmas has been an extremely fun postal holiday. I have never received so many cards! Thanks to all who thought of me and sent your greetings. I loved hearing from you.

Thank you!!!

Hee hee!

(click underlined words)

Four years ago, Neal, Betsy, and I went downtown Budapest (Hero's Square to be exact) to bring in the New Year. Two weeks prior to that I had told Neal that I was going to need a New Year kiss. With ten minutes before 2002, Neal reminded me that he was going to kiss me. I got nervous! The countdown came and he kissed me. Fireworks went off...literally.

Last night, the four year anniversary of our very first kiss, Neal, our friends Kevin and Soomi, walked back to that same place. It wasn't an official organized party site of Budapest, but Neal said let's go there and have our "own party."

As the 2006 year rolled in, Neal pulled me away from Kevin and Soomi, and Erin and Karen (who had found us minutes before). He was hugging me from behind and whispered his love into my ear. Quickly, he turned me to face him and got down on his knee.

With a huge smile and tears in my eyes, I said, "Yes, yes, yes" as he slipped a gorgeous ring on my finger:-)

Ladies and gentlemen, can I introduce you to my fiance, Neal Arthur Ericsson?

Happy New Year to you all from the soon-to-be Mrs. Ericsson.

Happy New YEAR!!!

With the New Year, I've got news:-)

But more on that later.

Celebrating the New Year with Neal, Kevin, and Soomi. Neal and I made a killer breakfast this morning, and Kevin and Soomi and making a dynomite dinner tonight.
